By downloading, installing, or using FileCanvas ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
FileCanvas is free to download and use, for personal or commercial work, at no cost. The Software is proprietary; the developer retains all rights. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or claim authorship of the Software.
FileCanvas provides a visual workspace desktop application for reviewing documents and organizing files, notes, and connections on an infinite canvas. The Software runs locally on your device.
Your documents, files, and canvas content are stored locally on your device using SQLite and never leave your machine. We do not run servers that hold your content, and we cannot see your files.
With your consent, the app may send anonymous crash reports and basic feature-usage diagnostics (which features are used, not their contents) to help improve the product. You can decline this when prompted, and no diagnostics are sent without consent. This website uses standard web analytics.
The Software checks GitHub Releases for new versions and can install updates automatically to keep you on the latest release.
